The height and weight requirements for Kolkata Police Constable are as follows:

Kolkata Police Constable Height and Weight Chart 2024  For Male candidates:

Height: 167.6 cm (5 feet 6 inches) (160 cm for Gorkhas, Garwalies, Rajbanshis and ST)

Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards

Kolkata Police Constable Height and Weight Chart 2024  For Female candidates:

Height: 157.5 cm (5 feet 2 inches) (152 cm for Gorkhas, Garwalies, Rajbanshis and ST)

Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards

Kolkata Police Constable Salary 2024

According to New PayScale, the Kolkata Police Constable Salary scale is Pay Label - 6

New Basic: 22700/-

HRA: 2724/-(12%  Of Basic)

Medical: 500/-

DA: 681/- (3% DA announced by Govt)

Monthly Gross Salary( Basic+ HRA+DA+ Medical): 26,605/-   (Without Increment & Police Department Special Allowance) 

Kolkata Police Constable Selection Process 2024

1. Preliminary Exam

2. Physical Measurement Test ( PMT): 

At first, Candidates are called for a Physical Measurement Test ( PMT). In the physical Measurement test, first, check weight and height will be taken by Digital Measurement Device. Then who will Qualify in Height and, weight check-up, then those candidates are called for Chest measurement.

3. Physical Efficiency Test ( PET): The Candidates who will qualify in PMT,  will be called for PET Exam.

✔️For The Male Constable: 1600 m runs,  Time - 6 minutes 30 sec.
✔️For Lady Constable: 800 m run, Time - 04 minutes.

4. Final Exam Test

5. Interview: Candidates who will pass the Written Exam, will be called for an Interview. The final Merit list is prepared on the basis of Written Test Exam Marks and Interview Marks

6. Medical Examination: Selected candidates will be called for Medical Examination at the Hospital in Kolkata, designed by Govt.

6. Documents Verification: And last, Concerned Authority,  verify your all Educational Documents and other documents.
