West Bengal  state government decided to recruit several thousand new workers. The state cabinet meeting on Monday was chaired by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. At that meeting, a seal was given for the WB food department Recruitment 2022 and West Bengal Health Department 2022  recruitment of contract workers in the health and food department. 11,000 workers will be recruited.

After the cabinet meeting, Industries and Council Minister Perth Chatterjee said, WB food department Recruitment 2022 and West Bengal Health Department 2022 "11,551 contracted part-time and outsourced people will be recruited under the health department." Perth said the appointments would be made to the health department with funding from the 15th Finance Health Commission. Regarding the recruitment in the WB  food department, he said, "342 people will be taken as data entry operators."

Perth said priority would be given to the families of those killed in various incidents in the state. Recently two civic volunteers were killed in Mograhat. Their family members will be given jobs. Last year, more than 20 people were killed in lightning strikes in Hughli and Murshidabad districts. It has also been decided to give jobs to their family members. In addition, family members of those who lost their lives in various natural disasters may also be given jobs.
