Kolkata Police Constable Salary 2021
According to New Pay Scale, the Kolkata Police Constable Salary scale is Pay Label - 6
New Basic: 22700/-
HRA: 2724/-(12% Of Basic)
Medical: 500/-
DA: 681/- (3% DA announced by Govt)
Monthly Gross Salary( Basic+ HRA+DA+ Medical): 26,605/- (Without Increment & Police Department Special Allowance)
Kolkata Police Constable Selection Process
Kolkata Police Recruitment 2020 Constable selection process.
1. Physical Measurement Test ( PMT):
At first, Candidates are called for Physical Measurement Test ( PMT). In physical Measurement test, first, check weight and height will be taken by Digital Measurement Device. Then who will Qualify in Height and, weight check-up, then those candidates are called for Chest measurement.
2. Physical Efficiency Test ( PET): The Candidates who will qualify in PMT, will be called for PET Exam.
✔️For The Male Constable: 1600 m runs, Time - 6 minutes 30 sec.
✔️For Lady Constable: 800 m runs, Time - 04 minutes.
3. Written Test :
✔️Total Marks -100
✔️Time - 1 hr.
✔️Type Of Exam - Objective Type.
✔️Negative Marking - Yes ( 0.25 for each wrong answer)
4. Interview: Candidates who will pass the Written Exam, will be called for an Interview. Final Merit list is prepared on the basis of Written Test Exam Marks and Interview Marks
5. Medical Examination: Selected candidates will be called for Medical Examination at the Hospital in Kolkata, designed by Govt.
6. Documents Verification: And last, Concerned Authority, verify your all Educational Documents and other documents.
Kolkata Police Constable Training
Provisionally appointed candidates will have to undergo a prescribed course of training/probation successfully before their confirmation in the rank. In case of resignation, before confirmation is tendered by the employee, he shall have to pay the training cost, as per existing Govt. rule.
